These terms apply to anyone who uses The Parkinson's Zone app or website (theparkinsonszone.com). By using the app or website, you agree to these terms.

What the app is — and isn't
The Parkinson's Zone is a personal wellness companion designed to help people living with Parkinson's disease and their caregivers track symptoms, log medications, access information, and stay on top of their daily wellbeing.
The app is not a medical device, a diagnostic tool, or a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Nothing in the app should be interpreted as medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making changes to your medication, treatment plan, or lifestyle.
Subscription and payment
The Parkinson's Zone is available on a subscription basis:
- Free trial: 14 days, no payment required to start
- Monthly: €4.99 per month
- Annual: €39.99 per year
Subscriptions are managed through Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store). Payment is charged to your App Store or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
To cancel, manage your subscription in your device's App Store or Play Store settings. We do not process refunds directly — please contact Apple or Google for refund requests in line with their policies.
Your data
All health data you enter into the app is stored on your device only. It is never transmitted to us or any third party. You are in full control of your data at all times. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.
Your responsibilities
You agree to use the app and website for lawful purposes only and not to misuse, reverse-engineer, or attempt to extract the source code of the app.
The information provided in the app (including guides, tips, and research summaries) is for general informational purposes. You remain responsible for your own health decisions.
Intellectual property
All content in the app and on the website — including text, design, and the TPZ name and logo — belongs to Dr. med. Julia Reeve unless otherwise stated. You may not reproduce or redistribute this content without permission.
Limitation of liability
We make every effort to ensure the app and website are accurate and reliable. However, to the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for any loss or damage arising from use of the app or reliance on its content.
The app is provided "as is." We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, though we aim to keep it running smoothly.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Amsterdam, Netherlands, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence provide otherwise.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify active subscribers of material changes by email. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
